Who are the Pandemic Pack?

We're a group of Wellington hospitality owner-operators who have come together to offer collaborative collective delivery. We believe in community overcoming adversity.

The honest truth is that many existing delivery services take a large percentage of a business' revenue: it simply isn't an option for small business, but with our community now working from home or in self-isolation, we needed to be able to keep running, pay our staff and our overheads. We can't work from home, but we can work together to get food to your home.

During Lockdown, unable to physically trade, we wrote a collaborative cookbook to help you get through self-isolation. Book sales have now closed.

We know that the majority of you want to support local but aren't sure how to do it in the weird and wonderful COVID-19 world we now live in. Welcome to The Pandemic Pack.

This is our last week of The Pandemic Pack. Check out our online store to see all options for delivery & pick up. Last orders for Friday - Sunday this week.

How It Works

We operate more like a grocery delivery service, where you are able to order all of your food items for one collective delivery, than a traditional food delivery service.

The Delivery Windows are Friday - Sunday:

9am - 11am

3pm - 5pm

Pick up available Friday - Sunday:

10am - 11am

3pm - 4pm

All orders must be received 24hrs before and will arrive at some point during the Delivery Window you have selected.

1. You place your order & we accept it.
2. We pass your order on to our 15 Pack Partners.

3. The Pack Partners prepare your food and signal to collect.

4. Our Runners collect all food for the current Delivery Window and bring it to the Central Hub's contactless drop-off zone.

5. At The Hub we pack your orders and dispatch, grouped by Suburb, with our Delivery Fleet.

6. Our Delivery Fleet hit the road. Contactless delivery to your doorstep, knock, then head off to the next delivery!

All Pack Partners are practising strict health and safety measures, working with skeleton crews. We are only able to produce a certain amount of food per day - please check for daily limits & advance notice items. We will be closely monitoring orders - if the system is overloaded we will TURN OFF online orders temporarily.

We won't limit you to one business per order because we want to give you choices (and it will help all of us if you order from more than one!). Looking for more than just ready to eat food? We have some retail and grocery options, too, thanks to our amazing Pack Partners.

We're stoked for all the support and interest we're receiving, but please do be patient with us and be kind as we work through the logistics of such an ambitious service.

Within Wellington CBD (postcode: 6011) we're running deliveries and we have a FREE pick-up "Drive Thru" from our inner city Central Hub, or contactless pick-up zone.

For the inner suburbs (postcodes: 6012, 6021), Eastern & Northern suburbs (6022, 6023, 6035 & 6037), Tawa & Porirua (postcodes: 5022, 5024, 5028), and Lower Hutt (postcodes: 5010, 5011, 5012, 5019), we've banded together to create a Delivery Fleet who will get your goodies to you.

Please note that we are unable to deliver to Upper Hutt or the Kapiti Coast, at this time. Want to check if we'll deliver to you? Get in touch.
